How to share your car with a link or QR code
Use Link & QR sharing to let someone view your car through a link or a QR code. They do not need a Custodian account. This is useful for showing your car to friends, sharing it online or displaying a QR sticker at an event.
Anyone who receives the link or scans the QR code can open the shared view, so use secure sharing when you want to choose who has access.
1. Open your car's sharing panel
Sign in to Custodian, open Garage → Your Cars, then select the car you want to share. Open Share your car from the car's sharing control.
2. Turn on Link & QR sharing
In Share your car, find Link & QR sharing and switch it on. If it is already on, your sharing link and QR code are ready to use.

3. Preview and copy your link
Use the eye icon below the QR code to preview the shared view. Check the information you are comfortable sharing before sending it to anyone.
Select the link or its copy icon, then paste it into your message, email or post.
4. Download or customise your QR code
Use the download icon beneath the QR code to download it. For a personalised sticker, select Customise QR.

In the QR code sticker creator, choose a ready-to-use theme or adjust the Outline and Background colours. When you are happy with the design, select Download QR sticker. People can scan it with their phone to open your car's shared view.
Make the sticker your own with themes such as Martini Racing, Gulf Heritage, Rosso Corsa and 007 Silver Birch, or choose colours to match your car or garage. The preview shows how your sticker will look before you download it.

Stop sharing by link
Return to Share your car and switch off Link & QR sharing when you no longer want to offer open access. Manage any secure shares separately in the same panel.
