How to install the Custodian PWA on Android
If you’re looking to see how to install the Custodian App to your Android device you’re in the right place. If you're looking for how to do this on iOS and our native iOS app is not yet available via the App Store in your country, you can find instructions here: How to install the Custodian PWA on iOS
Custodian now available as a native mobile application which can be found on the Google Play Store here.
You can still ‘install’ the application to your device as a ‘Progressive Web Application’ (PWA) if you wish. PWA’s are almost indistinguishable from native apps in a lot of ways. They perform particularly well on Android devices as Google and Microsoft are big supporters of the technology.
Instructions below:
Step 1
In order to install a PWA to your Android device the first step is to open https://app.custodian.club in your browser of choice. In general we would recommend using Chrome for the best support.
Step 2
Once you’ve loaded https://app.custodian.club in Chrome, login to your account (or register if you haven’t yet) and after that you should be greeted with something similar to the below image:
As you can see from the picture below there is a prompt at the bottom giving you instructions on how to install the application.
Step 3
After either tapping the install link or the ‘Install app’ button in the menu you’ll get a confirmation screen asking you to install the App to your device. After which a few messages will popup while the app is installed to your device.
Step 4
You’ll see Custodian has been installed to your device and will be in your Application bar and/or on your home screen as if you’ve installed it from the Play Store.
