# Understanding Promo Codes vs. Reward Codes

# What is the difference between Promo Codes and Reward Codes?

At Custodian, we offer two distinct types of codes to give you extra value across our platform: **Promo Codes** and **Reward Codes**.

While both unlock perks, they are redeemed in different areas of the platform depending on what they are designed for.
